Re: Cubase users - Strange Mackie issue
Looks like the only way to solve this problem was to recreate the transport bar again. Must be some bizarre bug

Cubase users - Strange Mackie issue
Having a strange issue with record arm and mackie protocol, it's driving me nuts. I've attached a jzml file of the transport bar, which is set to Midi0 and works fine with Mackie Control until you arm a track in Cubase The issue: (i have Cubase set to manually record-arm tracks) As soon as you recor...

Re: xml for cubase 6
Your virtual midi cabling is probably wrong if you can't get a signal on a midi track. I would try using LoopMidi Also make sure that if you set Lemur midi 0 to - Internal midi 01, you disable internal midi 01 out I'm away from my studio for a week, so can't offer any more help via visual aids. Your...

Re: xml for cubase 6
If you have the vst instrument loaded then it will appear as an option in the Devices column of the generic remote, 2nd window. You can select it and give the desired targets the CCs you want etc.

Re: Multiball Z Out toggle CC / Note
Thanks. I tried 0 -127 before, but using that stops any midi output for some reason. Anyway it's nice to use the decl function for the first time, so things are starting to work. decl val = floor(x*127); if(go.x==1) ctlout(0,ccNum,val,1); Oddly enough the range was inverted right (0) to left(127) in...

Re: Multiball Z Out toggle CC / Note
This is probably dead easy, but I'm learning as i go.
if I'm using
ctlout(0,ccNum,127,1);
How do i get the value to scale from 1-127?

Re: xml for cubase 6
What exactly are you trying to control? Just modulation and volume?
Setting-up a generic remote is only needed if you want to assign controls to specific functions within Cubase

Re: xml for cubase 6
Just click on 14 under 'Addresses' and enter the desired Midi CC. Note if you use a CC that is already assigned in the template you will end-up with some conflicts. Your best bet is like Phill suggested, just leave the template as is, go to the Daw seq window and open the QC view on the Channel view...

Re: xml for cubase 6
No, you need to specify what target coming out of Lemur goes to which Cubase function, via the generic remote/XML. Go to Devices / Devices Set-up / and click on the loaded remote XML file. You will see a list of targets and corresponding 'Addresses' that relate to the midi CC number that the control...
