Re: Push for lemur
Amazing. Never even considered this was possible. I have no idea how long this took or how you managed to avoid going crazy doing all that in Lemur editor, but I bow down to your skills! Very impressive. Thanks so much!

Re: Launchpad template working >>video<<
No worries, glad it works! Must be a different handshake depending on whether the client is on Windows or Mac.
I would have uploaded the jzml but was in a rush to get to work, will try to upload it over the weekend (unless you fancy uploading yours? )
Cheers

Re: Launchpad template working >>video<<
I managed to get this working on my Mac with Live 9 beta, but I needed to modify the template as the handshake was incorrect for me. Using information from http://liine.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2010, I changed the handshake() function in the lp_hand section of the template so it reads: //if(cc...
Re: Encoders
Here you go mate, try this. It's very "alpha" - assign the MIDI you want to the "outputX" expression rather than "x". <JZML> <WINDOW class="MultiSlider" text="SeekStrip" x="0" y="0" width="351" height="52" id="15" state="1" group="0" font="tahoma,10,0" send="1" osc_target="-2" midi_target="-2" kbmou...
Re: Encoders
I've implemented a "touch strip" for seeking through a track in Traktor. I've not got my laptop on me, but I'll share the code if it's of any interest. Basically the way it works is it is a range object with a range of 0-1, with the center at 0.5 (using physics to snap back instantly to 0.5 when you...

Re: stop jumping of values
Do you mean the way "cap only" mode for the fader works? i.e. you can't jump to the top from the middle or whatever?
I've implemented something similar for using a multi-slider in place of a fader: http://liine.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=783

"Touchproof" (cap-only) MultiSlider code/hack for use as fad
Hi all, I've created a "touchproof" multi slider which can be used as a single fader - essentially, this works in the same way as the fader with "cap only" mode, but I've found the multislider is useful sometimes as it can be made smaller than the fader, it can be made bipolar and its minimal design...

Re: double tap knob to center
+1. For now I guess you could add a button in the middle of the knob which resets the value (via scripting) when double tapped (using a variable to keep track of how many times it is tapped or something).

Re: Improvement suggestions/wishlist
One more I just thought of that would be great is to be able to access objects by a string reference to the object's name, e.g. decl stringTarget='Object1.Button4'; // this works setattribute(Object1.Button4, 'label_off', 'asd123'); Object1.exampleProperty = 'asd'; // this doesn't but would be cool ...
